Building a simple photo collage maker.
A basic and simple photo grid generator for when you just want a way to print 12 images.
After going through about 15 different apps in the last 6 months trying to find a nice, easy and fast way to chose a few images and print them off in a simple grid for a few use cases I bit the bullet and ended up building something instead. I just need to be able to chose some images (usually 12) and print them in a grid so I can then cut them out neatly. I may be on my phone, or tablet or laptop so it needs to work on all of them. I use it a few times a year, but not more than once a month so having some sort of subscription or paid app is not really what I want.
Now yes, there are a ton of sites, apps and programmes that all say they can let me do what I need to do, and even using google docs can get some of what I need done. BUT they all have 1 or more snags:
Either they all print in A4 (which is a huge waste of ink) or to make a grid layout they need the pro versio or a subscription, or they have adverts and then you can;t even set the grid to what I need, or end up making the images such low resolution or just crashing in general. It's not certain that I will always want to do it on my phone, or my laptop or my iPad so finding one that works on phones / tablets and laptops is such a PITA I just ended up building a little web app thing last night so I can use that every time!
This is version 0.1 and very much in beta. I may end up moving this out of my website and making it open source sometime in the future.
